The Communist Manifesto was written by Karl Marx and Fridrich Engels in 1848. It was written to promote Communism.
It was divided into four parts:
1)Bourgeois and Proletarians In this part its introduces Communism to inform people who don't know who it is. It explains the different classes of the economic structures and shows how each class struggles and relys on each other. For Example, the working class (proletarians) relys on the Bourgeois (the rich) for jobs. In effect, the rich can control the working class and if the working class doesn't listen to the Bourgeosis, then they dont have a jobs anymore.
2)Proletarians and Communists In this part it explains the goal of Communism. The goal is to get rid of all private porperty, social structure and to abloish country and nationality. To achieve this goal though, the working class would have to revolt.
3)Socialist and Communist Literature This part aruges that socialist ( Countries like USA) establishes things like Welfare, Social Security and minimum wage for there own personal favor. The only true way to help the proketarians is to redo economic and social relations.
4)Position of the Communists in Relation to the Various Existing Opposition Parties This summerizes what the working class should do to abolish pirvate porperty and social classes. They understand how it can take along time but if they all stay together, then evenutally they all can have freedom and a better world.
